CHICAGO–(www.hospitalitybusinessnews.com) Hyatt Hotels Corporation announced today the opening of Hyatt Regency Chongqing, introducing the Hyatt Regency brand to the booming city in Southwest China.
Catering to both business and leisure travelers, Hyatt Regency Chongqing is strategically located in Jiangbei District, the new central business district in Chongqing, which is 20 minutes away from all the major commercial and industrial zones, and a 15-minute drive to the new Chongqing International Expo Centre, the largest exhibition center in Western China and the second largest in China.
In the middle of the increasingly popular shopping area of Bei Cheng Tian Jie (known as ‘Paradise Walk’), Hyatt Regency Chongqing is part of a new mixed-use commercial development combining high-end offices, luxury shopping and various dining and entertainment experiences.

The signature Chinese restaurant, Yu Yue, serves authentic Sichuan cuisine emphasizing Chongqing specialties, complemented by Cantonese signature dishes.
