This was a very disappointing experience. I have been to Carls Jr in Auckland 4 times and  all 4 opportunities to impress me,failed. First time was on the opening day. I arrived keen to support the great rugby legend Michael Jones. I  was the 3rd car in the drive , yes there were only  2 cars in front of me. Well 30 minutes later food finally arrived, I had the $6.00 combo seemed great value, I have had that twice and each time had poor / slow service.l. On Saturday (yesterday) I took my fiancee there as we were at the Mega 10 store behind Carls Jr and because I am a huge Michael Jones fan wanted to give them one last chance to impress me. In the drive thru I asked for 2 of the $6.00 combos. A young male then told me to wait, we didn’t wait long before the male came back and said the combo doesn’t exist even though I have had it twice there since they opened..was told to hold again, the male returned again and he informed me that the combo is $6.00 in the USA but $7.20 in NZ. Fine we will have 2 of them. That will be $21.60 ..umm no Yes $21.60 for 2 combos…Told him to forget it left and drove to Burger King at the old Shell now Z petrol station at the corner of Taka and Great south Rd about 800 meters down the road. Had great service and food..I can not believe the poor service at Carls Jr….
